Stillness, Breath, Sound, Movement… and Stillness—the creative flow-state continuum between ‘Spirit’ (potential) and density (embodied being): nothing manifesting as expression and form, returning to nothing.
On a quantum level, it seems this could be happening moment-to-moment: a flashing into and out of existence, which we perceive as physical reality.
On an archetypal level, it’s the process of life and death. In a very real sense, babies are birthed from the (relative) stillness of the womb, take a deep breath, and begin wailing and flaying their limbs as they become progressively enlivened.
When working with flow-states, it differentiates between ‘doing’ and ‘being’. Where ‘doing’ leans heavily into Sound and Movement, characterised by ‘effort’, ‘being’ cycles continuously back into Stillness, and is characterised by ‘ease’.

Stillness
Void yet vast, infinitesimal yet infinite - the still point of consciousness where nothing exists, this present moment is forever and the unknown is potent. Stillness is the pause as the tide of breath changes, the silence that completes a tone and the surrender of being; where separate collapses into oneness and the experience of life becomes a meditation.

Breath
Where the unconscious becomes conscious, an inhalation caresses stillness to awaken, energise and enliven the potency of chaos, and an exhalation releases and surrenders all back to the vast, infinite unknown of stillness as creation ripples out into the ether.

Sound
Impregnated with energetic resonance breath is empowered and amplified, an expression of creation that expands out, penetrating and permeating the etheric spaces that connect and constitute all beings and forms.

Movement
Where the stillness of consciousness is expressed as being, as an inevitable continuance from breath and sound. As embodied beings, movement is a grounding, embracing, connecting and expressing of our physicality, as experienced through our perception of the bounded reality that is this embodied form.
